This stylish “urban oasis” was designed based on the five elements (earth, fire, metal, water, wood). Christian Lacroix created the staff uniforms and selected the furniture, while the world-class spa was designed like a mythological forest. The elegant rooms have floor-to-ceiling windows with views of the city and Lumphini Park.
Member of the Design Hotels™ group, this hotel features a modern design paying homage to the ancient city of Sukhothai. The interior mixes teakwood, silk, granite, water and mirrors, in custom pieces of furniture and décor. Oriental carvings add a traditional touch to the mostly contemporary spaces. Facilities and services include a spa, eight restaurants, and an outdoor swimming pool.
W hotels around the world are known for their stylish interiors, and this one is no exception. You’ll see that as soon as you enter the lobby, which changes color throughout the evening, and confirm it when you step into your spacious room. For a relaxing break, head downstairs for the oval-shaped swimming pool with underwater music and for the spa. One of the city’s top modern landmarks is around the corner, the King Power MahaNakhon tower, with its famous SkyWalk.
Each room of this stylish hotel is different, but each ones mixes art on the walls and contemporary design. There are some colorful and dramatic designs, extending to the common areas, like the bar, restaurants and terrace with an infinity pool.
An elegant modern décor can be seen throughout this hotel, from the rooms to the restaurant (only the library has more of a classic look). It’s also stylishly furnished outside, by the luxuriant pool area.
The 201 rooms and suites of this hotel feature different design concepts for travelers seeking the “fashionable lifestyle.” A live DJ provides the soundtrack at the chill-out rooftop bar, and further relaxation can be enjoyed at the spa. More active guests can head to the gym or swim at the pool.
Located in the northern part of town, but just a short walk from the MRT subway that takes you to the center, this garage-themed hotel has colorful rooms with different designs. It uses tires, motorcycle mirrors, car wires, lots of wood and brass to create unique spaces, and has a bar with an old van parked in the center.
Cool lighting adds color to the stylish rooms and common areas of this modern hotel in one of Bangkok’s most vibrant districts. Some of the city’s best nightlife is just around the corner, while for the daytime hours there’s a rooftop swimming pool, a spa for relaxing Thai massages, and a gym. The colorful restaurant serves Asian and Western cuisine.
This colorful guesthouse is divided into just a few rooms, all featuring bold shades and modern design. If bar-hopping is in plans, this is a good choice, as it’s located by a number of attractive spots, and is just a short walk from the nightlife in Sukhumvit, including the famous Soi Cowboy.
It’s a hostel, but it also offers private bedrooms. If you’re a budget traveler looking for a tastefully-designed place to stay, this is it. The modern facilities are decorated with traditional Thai elements, and are covered in wood, both indoors and in the exterior, which includes a green patio with hammocks.
