Snake Farm

Visitor's Guide

Snake Farm, Bangkok

Entrance to the Snake Farm

Run by the Thai Red Cross and slightly hidden in the Red Cross hospital, this snake farm’s goal is to breed snakes to educate and make snakebite serums.

Established in 1923, it’s one of only a few worldwide. There are daily demonstrations of venom extraction, preceded by a slideshow explaining the process.

Visitors make take photos with the snakes, but not everyone is brave enough to do it.
